Getting virtual machine versions

Follow these instructions to find which version of the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is installed on your Windows computer:

• From the Start button, select "Programs" or "All Apps"
• Select "Java" and then "Configure Java".
  If Java is not listed the JVM is not installed on your computer.
• Select the "Java" tab on the Java(TM) configuration window, and then "View..."
• One or more versions appears in the table presented (for example 1.8.0_73)
